we went to the boldmere harvester restaurant on Thursday the 3rd of feb,for my brother-laws birthday, this was our third time there, the second time wasn't clean enough with food on the floor and the tables.I'm sorry to say the third time was much worse ,the food wasn't enough, cold and we didn't realise we had to pay separately for fish when we ordered surf and turf.I've put a comment on the harvester website stating this.I'm sorry to say i wouldn't recommend the harvester on boldmere road,it was a waste of £70 and a disappointing night, and wont be going there again. Food and staff were great. The one thing that I do feel I need to say is that the kitchen hygiene wasn't of high standards. We were sat opposite the 'chef' and whilst cooking he was eating (had to mouth spreads bacteria) and he licked a spoon used to stir a dish then replaced it in the food.
I for one will not be dining there again, neither will the 3 families I attended with.

My friends and I often go for meals here. Always enjoy it and look forward to going back.
Really good, inexpensive food, free salad bar, attentive staff.
Would definitely recommend it.

We often visit with a rowdy bunch of children with special needs for the early bird menu. This is always value for money and the children? meals are varied with different sized portions, great for our kids. We are always welcomed and catered for in any way we need. Some of our children are on special diets and food is adapted if requested. No matter how much mess and noise we make we are always welcomed back, so much so that there are 30 of us going for our Christmas meal! Watch out here we come!
