Not one for slagging off places but to put it simply the attitude of this place stunk. Two of my friends have been in here before and said the food was excellent. In this case, it was very poor. first of all, it took them 25 minutes to come and ask us for our order (we asked twice when are they coming). Starters then took around 20 minutes to arrive, mostly dry. The meal then took around 80 minutes to arrive, during which point we all had our coats to actually walk out after asking them three times where was our food. Only to get told, with terrible customer service, the food has been cooked fresh, but 80 minutes! The real icing on the cake was when they eventually bought the meals out, they bought out a fish deal for one of our party who had asked for a none meal meal. (He is vegetarian). We complained and was told that would not be putting on the bill and we want get a special discount. Well guess what? they tried putting it on there and there was no discount. We ended up complaining again and the meal was struck off, and we got a free drink each. Wow. 3 hours in a busy restaurant with 4 lots of complaints for a sub-standard meal. I certainly won't be going there again.

Got to be the worst food and service I have ever had. Curry was slop in a bowl. I couldn't tell the difference between different dishes on the table. I think it must all come from one central slop bucket. The staff were rude and the place has no atmosphere. The only thing that was edible was the rice and that was over priced. There are much nicer places to get a good curry in Manchester. I would not eat here again, even if it was free.

i think this bollywood masala restaurant should be more well known, as have got to say I am very surprised with this restaurant. All the staffs were really welcoming, nice and really helpful. A lot of Indian restaurants are full of arrogant and uncaring waiting and managing staff, but Bollywood masala were soooo great. It was just a nice place to be.
The food was really nice specially Mo Mo (Dumpling) ! It actually tasted like real freshly Finally a place that actually knows how to make a nice pilau rice lol. Starters were quite impressive as well and quite generous servings in both mains and starters. The flavours were really good and it's got to be one of the most authentic and best indian places I've been to. And for me the best indian in Manchester city centre.

Visited Bollywood Masala on Saturday evening and had the most amazing indian meal I have ever eaten. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. The staff, atmosphere and food were all fantastic.

We have dined here last night, for a Birthday Celebration of my girl friend.
The food arrived fairly quickly and was pretty good, although some of us found things a little spicier than usual and struggled somewhat. I was very surprised to be offered a tikka masala that was mild, medium or hot! Would say I have had better curries, but very nice non the less.
The menu prices were a little more than average but final bill appeared pretty reasonable, although am so not used to getting charged for the pickle tray. Finally The food was really tasty and all eight of us enjoyed it. I will definitely go back again.

Bollywood masala is a new concept which combines the heady cultural colours and extravagance of the bollywood film industry with the aromas and flavorous of the cuisines of the indian subcontinent with a fusion of western tastes. With this Restaurant we have modernized indian cuisine taking it to its next level yet still keeping its authentic flavorous approached in a contemporary fusion manner with different accents from around the world added to dishes making this visit a unique experience.

Daughter visited restaurant on her birthday using one of the Happli vouchers which she purchased. Unfortunately, there was a problem with the voucher code. Owner made little or no attempt to try and resolve the situation which resulted in my daughter and her boyfried being made to feel like second class citizens, humiliated and embarrassed in front of other diners. The way the staff handled the situation was deplorable. Just because my daughter and her boyfriend are only 19 years old this is no way to treat people. Other kids of that generation would probably have taken matters into their own hands. A warning to others - seems they are not interested in customer service, only your money. Anway, my daughter felt so upset they just walked out without ordering.
