Unfortunately, things may have changed since Mr. G. Robertson's visit.Had a carvery lunch last Wed. 18th and it was extremely disappointing. Meat was dry and the pork was very fatty. The brussel sprouts were overcooked and YELLOW in colour.

My wife and I had carvery lunch @ the Bread 7 Cheese today.
The food was top class, the chef Graham, the waitress Tracy and the manageress Micheal,were very happy helpful people.
We visited this pub because I am chairman of the newly formed Canvey Island U3A,
I am also leader of the new Luncheon Clud for them and this venue was suggested as the next meeting place for my group on June 1st 2011.
I would like to find out more about the history of the building, but have not so far had ant luck any help would be appreciated.
