"The pub looked nice, the menu looked nice but... Oh dear! the food was disgusting. I had filo leek tart with jacket potato. The pastry was a solid greasy lump (hard to do with filo pastry) and the jacket pot was stone cold in the middle. It seems to me a great tragedy that someone employed as a "chef" a) cant be bothered to put a few spuds in the oven when s/he gets to work, and has to microwave cold ones, b) has so little knowledge of cookery that they are unable to reheat said a potato in a microwave efficiently. ALSO we asked if it was possible to have some salad dressing. We were brought a milk jug full of vegetable oil, nothing else just oil. Suffice to say I wont be eating there again! "

The manager uses locally produced food which is served quickly and efficiently by trained staff. The tiramisu is to die for!
