Great carvery, food delicious, visited on 19/8/09, friendly staff have recommended this to all my friends. Hope to go again on Sunday 30/8/09 for a birthday celebration

great carvery on new years eve but starters+puds let the side down a little however staff were very friendly +professional so i fully intend to make a midweek return visit.

truly awful pub. overpriced (£2.67p!!) crap ale served in plastic "glasses" for your pleasure as you sit and enjoy the river views. food driven "family pub" serving the usual overpriced muck. disgraceful. the toilets stank too. next time you want to chill by the river, bring your own picnic and be blown away by the spectacular sunset.
Britannia Inn Brewers Fayre
Always dependable, if a little predictable, but that means the food is Never poor! And great views over the Mersey. Well worth a visit, especially with a mixed age range party.
