ordered lasagna, it was disgusting. Obvious it was made some where else and microwaved, it was tasteless and under cooked in the middle. Would not go back

Have eaten here in the past and had no complaints - Christine is soooo fab - but we went for a special birthday and we were really disappointed :-(( I thought I was losing weight but the table they tried to put us at would have had twiggy blushing in shame ( nine inches between a wall and a fixed table) then we were moved to a very public table, my husband suffers from narcolepsy (falling asleep suddenly) so we needed to be discreet. Our starter was served quite promptly, so no problems, but then we waited, and waited (husband is now snoring gently (it was a special birthday so the wine did contribute to the decibels at this point). An hour and a half later explanations were given about the mix up in the kitchen (husband still oblivious so there has to be a plus side). The upshot is that we waited over two hours for the main course, which was very hit and miss (obviously prepared in a hurry) and was rubbish. We would not go back because the 'ooops sorry' and give the birthday girl a drink on the house (how much does a diet coke cost them) is not good enough. If you are staying over at Herons Reach you might think you don't have a choice but believe me you do....even the extra cost of a taxi to and from a superior venue is worth it, you can find a whole host of venues offering far superior service and menu, just ask the locals

it was awful - the food came out cold the service wasn't good because the waiters and waitresses didn't seem to know what they were doing and the prices on the menu were confusing - when we complained about the food being cold their reaction was ' oh is it' we had to suggest they got the manager for us and we suggested they take it back into the kitchen and heat it up!! - we expected a lot higher standard than what was on offer - we won't ever go back and we won't be recommending it to any of our friends..
