Good food, sensible portions, owner charming and witty, well charming. Always a pleasant evening, especially now that the beagles have been expelled.

Good food but main advantage is "bring your own wine" - £1 corkage. It is very popular and booking is strongly advised, usually 2 table sittings per night so decide between early or late before trying to book.
