Expect starters like Roast Wood Pigeon Breast with mashed sweet potato and crispy pancetta and pickled golden sultanas and mains such as Cumbrian Fell-Bred Beef Daube Bourgignon with shallots, mushrooms, lardons, thyme mash and red wine fumet. Afternoon tea is also popular, whether it's relaxing on leather Chesterfields or al fresco on the terrace when weather permits. The Beech Hill has 57 rooms, each individually decorated, as well as the Lakeview Spa with a 40-foot indoor pool, an outdoor spa pool, sauna and treatment rooms.
