went to this restaurant 4 a friends birthday and really enjoyed our night. the staff are extremely friendly and the service is very good. the place is very authentic and is decorated beautifully. we loved the meal and especially the desserts. it is fairly expensive but it was definitely worth it for a one off occasion.

Went to the CR in the Light after the theatre a couple of nights ago.
We really enjoyed it. It was late on a Sunday night and quiet. Service was fine. Really good wine available by the glass, an excellent steak frites, excellent tarte tatin, good coffee and good quality ice creams for the kids.
Ok, its a chain of ersatz French cafés but, at least on this occasion it felt and tasted pretty authentic. Except for the gren beans I ordered, which were good but I'd expected them to have been finished in a little garlic and buter in the true gallic manner. Will certainly go back.

Food is good - particularly the ploughman's lunch - but it's very overpriced for what it is.
