Food was absolutely gorgeous and not overpriced, staff really friendly.

An unexpected find at the back of a rather ordinary pub. This simple restaurant, on a cliff over looking the sea specialises in sea food. A somewhat 60's atmosphere should not put you off, for the food can be quite enterprising. Seared scallops as a starter were nicely cooked and so fresh, the dish that stood out was the smoked haddock with poached egg and spinach, finished with hollandaise. The succulent fish, not dyed yellow, had a great oak-smoked flavour, and was perfectly cooked and went so well with the traditional poached egg. The duck was nicely cooked and tender, though a little short on seasoning. Choose well and you will have a most enjoyable meal here with friendly if simple service. Considering the quality of ingredients used, it is not expensive.

Lovely Food. Friendly staff. Nice for a special occasion. Not pricey at all.

Great views, historic building. Food is good but not exciting. Vegetarian option pedestrian. No salad options.
Desserts run of the mill. Cost - high side of average.
