Squashed, food mediocre and overpriced, poor service!!! We visited Leeds for a weekend break with friends, based on reviews on here booked a meal at Casa Mia when we couldn't get a table at San Carlos. We arrived and first impression was chaos, the manager was running around like a headless chicken and we were left stood waiting while he disappeared (with no explanation) to find us a table. The restaurant was very busy and we felt hemmed in, they couldn't cope with the amount of people dining as despite having lots of staff, there was no organisation whatsoever (we were waited on by 5 different people) !! We waited 1 hour for starter, which was nice although the duck pate was sloppy, then another 45 minutes for pizza (after complaining about the wait) and then the dough was raw. We saw 3 tables ask for their bill and cancel food because of the wait. We complained about the raw pizza, no apology, but they knocked 2 of them off the bill. The food was mediocre and presentation poor yet everything was overpriced (£10/£12 for pizzas) -you would get better service (and food) at pizza hut!!

Went in Oct with kids for a Saturday lunch. Having not tried it I thought we'd give it a go. The frosty service by the a smartly dressed member of staff put us straight off. He didn't once make use feel welcomed even though we had 3 young kids to manage. A 'How are you' or even a smile would of gone a long way. Apart from that there was no dedicated kids menu which in todays age seems ridiculous. The food was ok but considering the competition in town I rather spend my hard earned money at a place who want my custom!

i WAS NOT AT ALL IMPRESSED AND i CANT BELIEVE HOW THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH MICROWAVE FOOD. Following my experience in Casa MIa in the Millennium square I thought it was a big time let-down. and unpleasant experience. The the unfriendly staff due to how they where treated by the owner that seemed an arrogant and bully man, to the microwaved food that I hardly touched.

Having enjoyed the Times £5 deal, I came back here to try the full menu. My husband and I were very impressed - the pork spare ribs were especially tasty, as was the bresaola, and the strawberry cheesecake was eagerly eaten despite our both being uncomfortably full by this point. Highly recommended.

Went here for the Times "2 courses for £5" menu so my choices were somewhat limited - found the lasagna a little lacking in flavour but was impressed by the minestrone soup. Would visit again to try the full menu.

Great location and the service was ok but I found the food of very poor quality. Nearly £10 for a pizza with a topping of tinned mushrooms, tasteless pepperoni... I don't think so. As I only wanted a glass of wine with my meal I was told that the house wine was the only one I could have - it was awful. I used to go to the original restaurants around Chapel Allerton which were great when they first started - the Millenium Sq restaurant falls well short.

A couple of us ate in Casa Mia Millennium Sunday afternoon. This is one of the few places you can sit outside and enjoy the sunshine in Leeds. The food was fabulous and fresh and the staff were attentive and easy on the eyes. All in all I found my visit there a pleasure.

Great location but food was very mediocre. £9.45 for a pizza made with tinned mushrooms, bland pepperoni which added no spice, peppers from jars - I was very disappointed. Staff and service was ok tho

My husband & I visited Casa Mia on a Saturday night for our wedding anniversary and were very disappointed. The decor is cheap looking (plastic tables) to start with. Then the food came extremely quickly - far too quickly for it to have been made freshly. I had garlic mushrooms which were soggy on soggy ciabatta. They had obviously been standing for sometime. The main course of lasagna was also nothing special. Obviously I don't expect that to be freshly made, but neither do I expect the mince to be in lumps. Pretty tasteless. Cafe food and decor, but restaurant (comparable with Bibis') prices. At least with Bibi's ,it may be expensive but the food is good. We won't be visiting this restaurant/cafe again.
