About Casa Roni
Casa Roni – named after the owner’s son – has opened in a former bank building in Allerton after a two-year renovation project. It’s a striking building and the interior really does it justice with ground level and mezzanine dining areas, beamed ceilings, skylights, exposed brickwork and rustic wooden furniture. Casa Roni is open every day (except Tuesdays) from noon until 11.30pm serving an Italian and Mediterranean menu put together by chef-patron Abi who has 30 years’ experience in Italian restaurants. Expect oven-fired pizzas, pasta and risotto, salads, homemade burgers and meat and fish specialities such as Veal Milanese served on a bed of spaghetti arrabiata and Sea Bass with chunky chips, salad and a creamy mushroom and Pernod sauce. The Mezzanine level can be hired for private functions and has its own private bar too.
