Just had Sunday lunch at Caveau - such a lovely friendly restaurant - food is delicious - soup is so tasty I would go for soup to start with a main meal - Sunday roast with a choice of lamb beef or chicken - amazing flavours - then I couldn’t resist desert - the cheesecake is my favourite but a really good variety . House wine is so good - never tasted a better house wine - staff are all so calm and friendly such a great atmosphere great food and service at a very good price

We went for the first time last night and what an excellent meal. I used to eat at L'Alouette quite often and was very sad when it closed, however now I'm delighted we have this restaurant in Woolton. We ate from the Table D'Hote menu at £16.95 for 2 courses and the food was absolutely top notch. We took our 2 children who were made to feel very welcome, even though this is a very elegant restaurant, we didn't feel any issues with having children with us. The made a very superior sausages, mash

This was my first visit to Caveau and it certainly will not be the last. The service and ambience was very good and the food was excellent my only gripe would be that the prices they charge you should not have to pay for extra vegetables there should be a complementary bowl of them!

Agree with all of above: excellent food and very pleasant atmosphere. Sadly, what should have been a great evening was spoiled by poor service. Hope this will be sorted very soon!

Was a regular diner at L'Alouette in Lark Lane, sadly closed due to lease expiration. Always enjoyed our dining there due to the great food that Dave presented and I am delighted that he has found his niche in his new venue 'CAVEAU' where he continues to delight with great dishes.
