Located in a prime location in the heart of historic Harrogate, the Cedar Court Hotel overlooks the pristine parkland of The Stray. The site dates back to 1671 and was the location of the town’s first-ever hotel and is just a short stroll away from Harrogate town centre. The hotel has 100 modern bedrooms and suites, a variety of stunning event spaces for all kinds of functions, meetings and weddings and dining options in both the main restaurant and the purpose-built Tipi in the grounds. The elegant yet relaxed restaurant is open for breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner every day and the kitchen team focuses on quality, locally sourced ingredients as an integral part of the menu. The all-weather Tipi sits in the grounds of the hotel overlooking The Stray and is open for lunch, afternoon tea and dinner daily. Lovely afternoon tea with my husband. A decadent start to our short break. We stayed at the hotel 2 nights. Pleasant, good location and staff. Clean room and good buffet breakfast included. We recommend.

We had afternoon tea, which was lovely & fresh. The food in the restaurant in the evening was excellent. The staff were attentive, friendly & polite but not in your face. Just right. Excellent value for money.

We both had fish and chips, real chips, crispy batter and proper mushy peas and piping hot. My partner had the orange torte which she enjoyed, and I had the parkin, with loads of sauce and a scoop of vanilla. The "bonfire smell" of the parkin was intoxicating. This was real Yorkshire food cooked and served with love. Thank you.
