This former railway station, built in the nineteenth century, is halfway between Cheadle village and Parrs Wood and is a lovely location for family gatherings, celebrations or a simple Sunday lunch with a pint. The exterior is pretty and has an extensive outside dining area to enjoy during the warmer months. Inside, the pub has been tastefully converted and is warm and inviting. The main menu caters for all tastes with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free choices as well as fish dishes, steaks, burgers, grills and pasta and pub favourites. And on Sundays, the carvery is not to be missed – a choice of meats alongside piles of roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings.
