Visited the restaurant on Friday 13 March for a friend's celebratory graduation lunch. Very pleased that the baby change facility was in the ground floor disabled toilet so avoided struggling upstairs with baby, bag etc. The staff were very helpful, polite and professional. The food was spectacular! Chicken salad was delicious and baby (16 mths) ate most of the chicken & bacon, but as there was plenty meat in the dish, I sampled what was one of the best Entrees I've had in a long time! The whiting on the lunch menu was replaced by seabass, which was delicious, the whole meal was cooked to perfection. Followed by warm apple & pear crepe with Chantilly cream - exquisite! Every meal at the table was thoroughly enjoyed (7 meals) and under £9 for 2 courses was a fantastic price for an experience of food excellence. Will definitely return and can't wait!! This restaurant should be categorised under "fine dining" because that is what you will receive.
Chez Jules
Went on a Tuesday night, as it's 2 courses and a bottle of wine each (!) for £14. The place was packed and had a great atmosphere. The food and service were excellent had mussels for starter and seabass for main and there? a good choice, pudding was £3 extra so had a lovely brulee. Would highly recommend but would advise booking as we just turned up at 8.30 & got the last table which was unfortunately right by the door
Chez Jules
The whole evening was very rushed, but I suppose that is necessary these days, the food was excellent, though a bit minimal. I think they are trying to cater to too many people and the focus is on the door.
