The Couple Dining
After 8 years away from China sea restaurant, nothing much has changed apart from spoiled choices from their economic menu. I was surprised one of the waiters, a talkative young man, actually remembered us after all these years. My wife and I ordered our usual meals, but to our disappointment, not only were there no improvements with this economic downturn, the meals were worst than before. The really upsetting moment was when we pleasantly give the management a comment, since we were asked at the end of our meal, we were given rude feedback. Apparently the manager just can't accept the truth. One last comment, my wife noticed a hygiene issue which must have been overlooked by the Environmental health officers, is that the ladies toilet, not to mention tiny, is carpeted, which shouldn't be ( or is it acceptable? ) for hygiene reasons. Anyway, these are just our experience recently in the China Sea.

We go to this restaurant regularly and always find the staff pleasant and most importantly the food is excellent and arrives very quickly, you will not be left waiting long! at £4.95 for 2 course lunch it is great quality for low price rarely found in the city centre these days.

Usually have my lunch there which I understand the lunch rush hours, and that's really great when you only get 45 mins for lunch. I would have thought at night time when it's quieter we could enjoy our meals better, but no, we are greeted with the usual rudeless from our, almost, daily waiter friends.

It's great if you're looking for a quick meal, in-n-out. Don't give comments/complaints to the manager, you'd receive a lecture, or some cheek. There is one or two really nice staff who are really well spoken but that's all. Wouldn't recommend a night out, but do highly recommend if you're tight for cash.
Mothers who lunch
Another of my daughters Chinese lunchtime haunts. Food very good, service quick and all very inexpensive. Watch where you sit as didn't think we had a great table. Apparently there's a good section and the one we were sitting in!
