Came here to use a LivingSocial voucher for the tasting menu. Service was fast and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious - any restaurant that gets my husband to try sushi is clearly capable of miracles. Will definitely be back to try the full menu.

The service was awful. Really slow. Unfriendly staff.
Food was ok but for £70 for a meal for two I would expect a lot more. You can get tastier Japanese food at Fuji Hiro for a fraction of the price.
I wont be going again.

Visited here recently for my 30th birthday as a group of 5... had read the rave reviews about the food and also thought ideal location (close to station) Although our table was booked in advance we had to wait over 45 minutes to be seated so it was 9.45 before we made it to our table... we then found out they were dedicating their time to the whole cast of Emmerdale who were also dining there so we were actually on the verge of leaving because of the appalling waiting time and were kept waiting in the bar area...food eventually arrived at about 10.15 and I have to say we were so genuinely disheartened by the experience, it was a good job the food was worth the wait. Presentation was exquisite, original and food was tasty, although not the best pan Asian cuisine I have ever tasted. Overall, it was a good dining experience, due to the quality of the food, but service was very slow (probably due to circumstance of pandering to emmerdale cast, but nevertheless we were paying customers, and its not cheap!) which let it down for all of us on such a momentous occasion.

What a disappointment! I used to eat there few years ago when the service and the atmosphere were excellent. Unfortunately something must have changed as yesterday I had a very disappointing experience when I went there to eat with a good friend with the intention of treating ourselves.
The food was average: I ordered a Vegetable Tempura that was nice but slightly cold. My main course was a Green Thai Curry with coconut rice. The curry was blunt and lacked of any flavor while the rice had certainly not been in contact with any coconut!
The service was mediocre too. On top of this, when it was time to pay, the POS was not working properly and it nearly took us 20 minutes to pay. No apologies were given and we had to insist to have the copies of the failed transactions. The bill reached a good £80 for 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 cocktails (and no wine!!!). We would have not minded it should have we been satisfied.
I think I will give it a miss for another couple of years and see if things might improve!

We booked a table for 3 through the Sugarvine site and immediately received a confirmation text with booking code. When we arrived at the restaurant they had no record of our booking (in fact the greeter said he wasn't aware of the restaurant being able to receive bookings through Sugarvine) but sat us at a table in the bar where the music got progressively louder throughout our meal. We asked for it to be turned down once but by the time we'd finished we couldn't hear each other speak. The food was very nice although the starters were bought out with a long gap between them and our seafood stir fry had very sharp pieces of broken mussel shell in it. Although the food was lovely, the rest of the experience overshadowed it.

Once the best restaurant in Leeds by a mile... now distinctly average and absolutely SHOCKING service.
Save yourselves a fortune and go elsewhere!!

A friend and I had booked here for a treat because we had read about it in a magazine! When we arrived the restaurant was closed due to work being done on the hotel, we were so disappointed as we had looked forward to it for so long! However we were offered to sample the food but in the bar complimentary and I have to say the food was outstanding and I can? wait to return in the proper restaurant to get a true feel for the place! We only had wine to pay for which was more than your average restaurant but even if we paid full price would have been worth every penny! 10 out of 10 for food presentation and taste and culinary expertise! We couldn? fault it and loved it! Thank you!

I located Chino Latino due to its convenient location to the Station and wanted to impress a new work colleague. Needless to say I wasn't disappointed. The food was exceptional and the surroundings really make this a dining experience worth noting. If you want to relax and just have drinks then this is also the perfect place, with a smart and relaxed atmosphere.

We went in a large group, and the service was very slow, with long gaps between courses. This may just have been because we were a very large group. The food was okay although on the set menu we had it was nothing spectacular. The edamame were a nice start to the meal.

In general great food! - good service and brilliant cocktails. We were a group of 6 so we got quite a range of dishes to share, ranging from brilliant to average. If there had just been a couple of us I don't think I would have been happy if I'd chosen an average quality dish for the price. The spare ribs were the best I have ever had. The sushi was brilliantly presented but not so great to eat. Little Tokyo sushi is better for half the price. Overall though a good dining experience, certainly a place for a special night out.
