The food is first rate along with the very helpful and bubbly staff, this makes for a very pleasant eating experience.

Some might say, that with Chiquito's being a chain restaurant, the authenticity is lacking. Well, it may be true that it's not the most original place: the chef's are British and the place looks like an overly done up Mexican wedding venue. But, this said; the service is prompt and efficient, despite the fact that on every visit it has been very busy and the waiters and waitresses are friendly and on the ball. The food is a tad expensive, but the portions are big and the food is delicious. you don't have to be a fan of all things spicy to come here, the traditional American chicken dishes and mashed potatoes are fantastic. If you order fajitas, then it arrives at your table sizzling on a platter.
I should also mention that the cocktails are amazing, original and fresh- i recommend the strawberry daquiri!
If it's your birthday, then all the more reason to go- You get a free drink, balloon and a chorus of happy birthday from the staff!
Chicquito's is always alive with chatter, music and people out for a good time. It's suitable for families, as they give out free childrens activity bags and great for a group booking or girls/boys night out.
