Situated in the heart of Liverpool’s business district, City Wine Bar & Kitchen serves food, wine and cocktails all day long from 12 noon until late from Monday through Saturday. It’s a smart, intimate and independent operation ideal for a quick business lunch or socialising after work. The menu has plenty of choice ranging from sandwiches, salads and burgers (prime Lake District brisket of beef with bone marrow gravy) to a selection of small plates and main courses. The small plates are a great accompaniment to the wide choice of wines on offer and for something more substantial, main courses encompass comfort food such as fish & chips and sausage & mash as well as steaks, moules frites and risotto. Wines can be chosen by the bottle or glass from the main list or the specials board and there are also bespoke cocktails and a great gin selection.
