I chose to eat here for our 20th wedding anniversary as previously we have really enjoyed our meal.
On this occasion my cheese and onion pie tasted odd as the pastry had a sweet taste, I brought this to the attention of a member of staff and she raised it with kitchen who said it was the same as normal. The chips were also frozen. I was offered a coffee or dessert but I did not want one just a redress to my complaint.
At £14 I feel it was expensive as I couldn't eat it all.

From the moment I first stumbled upon this lovely place when lost, I've wanted to visit to eat. The opportunity arose on Bank Holiday Monday and I wasn't disappointed.
I've popped in the bar on a couple of occasions and was really looking forward to the planned visit.
The décor and furnishings are beautiful, the ambience was relaxed and I could tell I was somewhere special. Even the music choice was great and the acoustic quality really high.
I had the belly pork for main and I've never tasted better. The whole dish was delicious.
The service was very good - my only issue being I had to recharge a glass at the bar on one occasion.
Can't wait for an opportunity to visit again.

A superbly refurbished Inn located in a lovely village. We had a superb meal here and enjoyed nibbles ( not small ) splendid main courses and without doubt the best pudding I have tasted in years. An inspired take on Manchester Tart with Elton Mess ice cream.

We came for the first time to the Coach and Horses for a meal on Mothering Sunday. It was a privilege to dine there. We found the food delicious, the service spot on. The pub itself is a little gem in the heart of the Ribble Valley.
Thank you for making our day very special.

We were four ladies meeting for lunch. The table was beautifully set and the staff were most attentive without being overbearing . We asked for a slight variation on the menu and it was no problem at all. We all thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and the ambience of the restaurant . Can’t wait to go back.
