My boyfriend and I visited the pub for the carvery on Sunday 22nd July. The beef was lovely but we did not enjoy the meal at all. The mushy peas were hard. we had pay an extra £1.25 for mashed potato, (usually included when you go to any other carvery) which was not mashed up properly and along with the rest of the different kinds of patatoes they had on were generally not very nice. I couldn't cut my yorkshire pudding as it was overcooked. Would NOT recommend and will not be returning!

We visited the Carvery about 3.30pm on Sunday 23 September - the roast beef was the best I have ever tasted. Very tender, juicy, plenty of it and at £5 - well recommended. The rest of the meal was very good too!
