We visited Constantines for the first time this eveningand we weren't disappointed. The owners are very welcoming and personable, the decor fresh and clean. For starters i had the Scallops another first for me and they were truly delicious. My main course was the lamb rump my husband opting for the T bone steak the lamb was really tasty and tender, i also sampled the T bone steak and it was melt in the mouth delicious i will definately be ordering it when i return. The portions were generous and i had to squeeze in dessert of chocolate fudge cake another winner served with ice cream and cream. We also sampled the coffee and mints as we were enjoying ourselves so much. The prices were very reasonable and we will definately be returning as soon as we can get another babysitter.

Fabulous night. If you are wanting quick impersonal service this isn't the place for you but if you want great food , a fabulous atmosphere and individual service then you can't go wrong. Marlene is great, but be sure to butter her up (well worth it) and be sure to make friends with David (the wine waiter) to ensure prompt service when you order drinks. Be prepared to wait between courses but make the most of the individual personalities of the staff because the entertainment value is second to none. We will be back (sorry Marlene). :-)

Went on a Friday night and the restaurant was empty, which was slightly worrying. The garlic bread base was too thick an didn't taste that good. The pizza was covered in thick cheese and had a thick soggy base with layers of grease swimming on top, I've had better from asda! The other halfs chicken was filled with cartilage, will not be going back.

Went to Constantines Wed 18th May, for our daughters birthday, the staff were so nice to us , we were relaxed all through the meal, and our daughter given a complimentary drink for her birthday along with a candle in her dessert, the food portions were more than ample, tasted delicious, and fabulous value for money we will be back any time we are in Blackpool, and will widely recommended to others.

Recently had lunch here. Unfortunately I can't agree with the positive comments others have made! Service was very slow - 3 and a half hrs... and the food poor quality. The most tasteless Stilton mushrooms I've ever had! Sorry but really disappointed with this place

saw this restaurant advertised on sugarvine, have been up and down highfield road on a regular basis and never even knew this place existed, more the pity for me.
table for two on the early bird menu, starters where really good(fish cakes)
mains stroganoff and the sea bass (2.95 extra) would have paid double, the mains where amazing, not one to ever have desserts we decided to share a cheesecake, best decision all night, it was really good and it was plenty for two to share, service was great , and the prices are so good would def recommend this place to all my friends and family. tracy

celebrated my sons 18th birthday here recently. Although there was 21 guests the service was fantastic! Everybody really enjoyed their meals, even the fussy eaters, then again the food was delicious! if you are looking for a restaurant that's really friendly, gives fantastic service, serves delicious food and is great value for money, look no further! I cant recommend Constantines enough!

Constantines Restaurant we found on sugarvine website as was going to Blackpool on holiday so made a reservation for my wifes birthday. The service was superb, the food was fantastic and the price was brilliant. We had a great evening, so booked to go again 2 days later, which the service and food was as good as the 1st time. We recommend this restaurant. Very high standards.

At a loose end and with a distinct lack of quality about in Blackpool & The Fylde at the moment, we decided to give Constantine's restaurant a try based on some recent reviews on Sugarvine. There were 4 of us, my partner and I and my folks, we have varying tastes in dining with my folks enjoying the traditional were as my partner and I being open to pretty much anything!!
The menu at Constantine's is quite a traditional mixture between Italian/French and English with the starters being fairly standard fayre of soup, mushrooms, pate and bruschetta but with some other great things thrown in for good measure such as moules and risotto both crayfish and wild mushroom.
The main courses are quite similar in terms of style, steak, pasta etc with some really nice other items too.
We opted for 3 lots of pate and minestrone soup; the pate was home made and served with warm crusty bread and a fantastic onion chutney and a substantial side salad which was very well dressed. The pate was chicken liver and although not as course as I usually like was nonetheless excellent, the best I have had for a long time!! My Dad being somewhat of an expert on minestrone soup, highly rated his serving describing it as very tasty and well made along with being "red hot"!
Main course was seafood pizza, mixed grill, rib eye steak and chicken stroganoff. All four were truly superb, my mixed grill was huge consisting of steak, gammon a whole chicken breast, black pudding, egg and one of the best Cumberland sausages I have ever had. My fellow diners were similarly delighted with their meals. The chicken stroganoff was very well made with the correct amount of mustard. The steak was cooked very well and served with large homemade chips and lots of them! The pizza was excellent with prawns, muscles and squid instead of the usual tuna fish on light homemade pizza dough.
The portions were huge and none of us were able to finish although they were happy to give us a doggy bag!
two of us had desert, I had cheescake whilst my dad had tiramisu, both of which were homemade. My cheesecake was very good although a little heavy, it would have been better as a baked version. The tiramisu was similarly heavy, tiramisu is best when it is light, nevertheless it was very very good and I would recommend both.
The coffee machine was broken so unfortunately there was no espresso so we skipped on the coffee.
We had two rounds of drinks and a bottle of wine.
I have to say that if constantine's keeps it up, there is a new gem in Blackpool. The prices were very very reasonable and the food was the best I have had on the Fylde for at least a couple of years. Service was great and the atmosphere was warm and friendly.
Personally, I like to have a drink at the bar first; we were shown straight to our table. I'd like to see more diverse specials because clearly the chef is up to it. Don't let these couple of points put you off though, please give this place a try, great places to eat around Blackpool are few and far between and it is important places like Constantine's are well supported.......
Keep up the good work guys, don't let the portion size and food quality go down the busier you get like lots of other restaurants in Blackpool that start off so well!!!
Highly recommended!
