Have been eating at Cook Island for many years and can say I have never been disappointed with both the food and service. We have always had a warm friendly welcome. Scot is a great manager.

When we turned up it was very quiet. The staff were very courteous and welcoming. The two meals for £12.00 were fantastic value. I would definitely come again.

Very good, the best bit is the carvery and the range of meats are amazing. I also recommend the potatoes. The only problem is the lack of tables and seating.

Disgusting!!!!
We went on Sunday for the carvery. It was £8.95 - what a rip off, the gravy was watery - no taste at all, just brown water, the potatoes were all hard in the middle and had an odd texture. They gave you 2 measly pieces of meat and when half of my slice fell of his fork he wasn't gonna put it back on my plate, i had to ask for it! All frozen rubbish! My hubby had a curry and no exaggeration from ordering to coming to the able it was about 5 minutes - blatantly just put in the microwave. And then he had to go and ask for more poppadoms cs the 2 he had were stale. The whole menu was ridiculously overpriced (jacket potato £8,95, chicken breast and jacket £11.95 etc etc) you wouldnt mind paying these prices if it was fresh home cooked food but it was frozen rubbish! I can honestly say its the worst roast i have ever had!

Could only afford to eat their once during the holiday, but on a wet weekend it was a warm inviting place to eat, with a good atmosphere. My lad especially liked the wi-fi connection.

Stumbled across Cook Island whilst on holiday just outside Ilfracombe. We thoroughly enjoyed the carvery at £8.95 per adult. Vegetables were cooked beautifully and there was a great selection too. Great play area for children aged 3 to 15 years. Very clean. Only problem was not enough tables. Staff very friendly.

The Cook Island was an ideal stop off point travelling from the Beach at Woolacombe to Ilfracombe and the food and service was good here and an added advantage was a children's game room along with pool table
