CookHouse is a family pub and carvery located on the junction of Mackets Lane and Lydiate Lane in Woolton, south Liverpool. The modern and comfortable décor is designed to cater for groups of all ages and sizes with breakfast served from 9am, lunch service from noon right through the afternoon and dinner from 5pm to 10pm. The carvery, with freshly cooked meat and vegetables, and the chicken rotisserie, from which you can get a freshly roasted chicken delivered straight to your table, are key features alongside a bistro menu with traditional fayre such as lamb shank and locally sourced sausage and mash complementing more diverse dishes such as chicken tikka masala. CookHouse has outside areas both front and back for dining and a play area for children. There’s also live music for the adults every Friday night, a quiz night every Thursday and regular events and promotions.
