Cottons Hotel & Spa is a four-star hotel near Knutsford that’s part of the House of Daniel Thwaites collection. It has 138 bedrooms, a stylish spa and pool, a conference and events centre and an AA-rosetted restaurant serving British and Italian-inspired cuisine ranging from light bites through to their signature mains. The ‘Taste Table’ gives you a choice from an extensive range of fresh seafood, Italian cured meats and seasonal salads whilst 28-day-aged steaks and Tuscan-style chicken are prepared in the Inka Grill, which imparts maximum flavour by cooking at up to 500 degrees centigrade. There’s also pasta and risotto, classics like Beer battered fish & chips and Handmade beefburger and stove-top dishes like Braised shoulder of Pendle Hill lamb ragu with savoy cabbage, beetroot and goats cheese gnocchi, heritage beetroot and lamb glace. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner every day right through from 12 noon. You can also treat yourself to a special Tatton Afternoon Tea every day, with optional Prosecco or Champagne.
