About The Courtyard

Housed in a building steeped in history a block back from Lytham Green, The Courtyard is a stylish café with its own heated and covered walled garden. It’s open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea and for dinner too until 8.30pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.  It’s also fully licensed so you can drop in any time for a cheeky glass of wine or fizz. There’s a great breakfast selection catering to carnivores and vegetarians alike and lunch includes small plates, sandwiches, toasts and bowls. Evening choices might range from Steak Frites and Roasted Stone Bass to Cauliflower Chickpea Curry and Pickled Shiitake Mushroom Stir Fry with weekly specials also available.  The Courtyard is also a great space for a private party and can cater for functions for up to 50 people.

Our favourite lunch and coffee stop in Lytham. Amazing coffee and great lunch choices that are different, made in house, full of flavour and healthy too! The service staff are always helpful, attentive and friendly. It's always a treat!

Me and my boyfriend visited on the 9th may. We can both say obviously amazing from food to atmosphere to service, I ordered salt and pepper Halloumi with avocado and poached egg I even add bacon and a sausage. 10/10 full of flavour. My boyfriend had ultimate breakfast ciabatta. 10/10 . You get so much for your money. My smoothie and his orange juice were made fresh to order. We did wait 25 mins for food which seems long but everything made fresh to order. 100% going back !!

It was the first time my husband and I had visited here, we came over from Preston purely for lunch. Nice atmosphere, food was delicious, the only criticisms are we weren’t offered any sauces with our meal or salt and pepper and no butter with the bread that came with the soup. I had a revive juice which was delicious but a tip round be to serve juices and smoothies with bamboo straws as the paper ones go soggy. Food was hot and fresh and we’ll definitely be returning.

Another lovely lunch at the courtyard. We both had the specials - salt and pepper halloumi on toast and mushrooms on toast. Both delish. Finished by sharing a big slice of Victoria sponge, perfect.
