We had a leaving do there on a Saturday lunch time recently. The atmosphere was excellent, service very good and friendly and the fixed price luncheon menu limited but good value for money. The weather was sunny and we were able to take coffee in the garden which was perfect for a large group as you could circulate. i would recommend it 100% for a big group of people. I will certainly be trying the a la carte at some point in the future. Idyllic setting.
Cromwells At Golding Barn
Thanks to all the staff at Cromwells Restaurant, for an excellent and memorable evening & meal on 29th November. The food was lovely - several of us ordered beef which was perfectly cooked and the Pesto & Goats cheese starter was delicious. We took 22 friends & family for our Ruby Wedding celebration and had a wonderful evening. Lovely atmosphere too. The lighting and the beautiful orchids on the tables added to the ambience. There was another party of approx 20 people there too, which could have caused delays in serving the food but we were served in good time. Everyone agreed that it was a truly memorable evening. Thank you all the staff of Golding Barn.

I was at a wedding at cromwells in august and was having a great time food great until i was ask by member of staff for 'some coke' i was aware that it was going on but wasn't involved very disappointed indeed to finish my comment i now understand the two main chefs have left head chef has gone to whites in steyning and sous chef has gone to london

Beautifully decorated and restored old barn very homes and gardens!, stunning views and beautiful old English style walled gardens, perfect for a leisurely lunch, afternoon tea or relaxed meal on a barmy summers evening. Wonderful ambiance, polite and friendly staff. Good food and reasonably priced, one of my favourite places to eat and relax. Don't be put of by location as once inside it is a real Aladdin’s cave, if your going for a special occasion be sure to book as usually busy. Hope you enjoy it as much a all my friends and family do. Bon appetite!!
