On a Saturday evening three out of the five "specials" and the first choices from the main menu were all sold out leaving little but burgers, steaks and pasta bake . Having quietly complained to the waiter that one of the steaks was not well done but burned black ( to a thickness of 5mm all round ) we were advised by the manageress that " this was how our customers like them ".
With a large banner proclaiming "UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT " outside it can only be inferred that the change at this formerly reliable eatery has not been for the better .

the best Sunday lunch i have had in a long time. you can have a choice of meat and also a very good selection of vegetables. The chef is very generous and the waitresses are polite . I have been to this pub/restaurant in the week(wed) and the cooking was not as good. Def go on a Sunday , you will enjoy!!!!
