The Crown Inn at Catshill, near Bromsgrove, is a family friendly nineteenth century village pub run by Colin and Karen. It’s a warm and welcoming venue with a traditional pub menu with lots of classic favourites at value-for-money prices, with all dishes prepared fresh to order. There are steaks and burgers, pub favourites like Hunter’s Chicken and Steak & Ale Pie as well as more adventurous dishes like the Cambodian Street Food Curry. Delicious desserts range from The Ultimate Brownie Fudge Cake to Apple and Mixed Fruit Crumble. To complement the food there’s a good selection of well-kept real ales, beers, lagers, and premium wine and spirits including a choice of gins. There’s plenty going on too with darts and pool teams, karaoke and clairvoyant nights, live Sky and BT sports and a pretty beer garden with an enclosed play area for children. Food is served daily from 12 noon until 8.30pm with drinks through until midnight.
