Excellent value for food and drinks. Entertainment every weekend and quiz night on Tuesdays. Sunday Roast every week which is very good value at £6.00 for all the trimmings. Everything is home cooked and you can really taste the difference from the usual microwave stuff that is available in most places. The have a kids play area which is fenced off from the road, and quite often have a bouncy castle which is free for the kids to use. A real "family" pub, but also good for a bite to eat and lots going on during the weekends. Highly recommended!

the cukoos rest was brilliant. i must say i will be going there again very soon. they also have fabulous entertainment including karaoke. go there now
