Hi Tony
I am only acquainted as a brewer- they stock a couple of our beers.
My review is based on one evening that my partner and I really enjoyed there, when the beer I was drinking was £2 a half .
Why don't you ask them directly about where they source their cheeses ? That would put an end to the speculation.
Regards

Totem, I'm curious how "most" of the cheeses could be sourced from Neal's Yard when Neal's Yard doesn't even carry several of the cheeses on the board (some being exclusive to Pong). Also their house beer must be the only beer there at 2.00 per half pint. I was charged well in excess of 3.00 for a half a pint of Magic Rock Rapture (4.6) which is nowhere near the 9 abv you suggest. Am I right in thinking you're actually an friend/employee of Culture and Cure?

Our new favourite ! We had some lovely cheeses ( I asked the owner , and most are sourced from Neals Yard), and some of the really beers are £3 a half but that was for a 9 beer! I also tried a delicious half of their own beer which was £2 a half. We also ordered the salmon and beef from The British Tapas menu , which was gorgeous. Well done - we will be back with friends.

An impressive opening selection of craft beer and drinks but be warned the prices in their menu are not what you will be charged (2.00 per 1/2 pint listed in the menu, in reality well over 3.00). There is also a very high mark-up on bottles.Their cheeses are priced at 5.50 each (per tranche) which exceeds even prices in central London gastro-bars/specialist cheese cafes (e.g. Antidote, Androuet). This might be defendable if the sourcing/affinage were exceptional but as far as I can tell most of their cheese just come from Pong which you can order yourself online for a fraction of the price.

Went there on their first weekend. Like nothing else in Bath. Loads of personality. I really can't praise them enough for the quality of food, cooking and friendliness. I hope they can keep it up. Highly Recommended.
