Manchester’s new 137-room Dakota Hotel is situated on the edge of the Northern Quarter in the Piccadilly Basin. It has a luxurious and sophisticated feel with the flagship Dakota Grill open right through the day and evening. Steaks are a speciality here with grass-fed, 35-day-aged signature cuts cooked to your liking over hot coals. The seasonal menu also features inspired seafood dishes such as Line-caught stone bass with king scallop, red pepper and asparagus, Halibut with cep mushrooms and cauliflower and Monkfish curry. Booths and banquettes provide one of Manchester’s more sophisticated dining experiences. The elegant Dakota Bar has its own Champagne Room and Cigar Terrace and private dining rooms can be reserved for special parties and functions. Bedrooms are all stylishly fitted out with crisp cotton linen, rainfall showers, underfloor heating and unlimited Sky Sports and Sky Movies. The Dakota Hotel is also home to the city’s largest and most luxurious penthouse suite.
