I don't no where to start to be honest...I Had my bday in Dhanak Deira and omg it was amazing I don't no what to type because the atmosphere was just brilliant and the service was reallly nice and caring. Where do I start with the food. The Chana Chaat was just mouth watering. I have never had such an amazing starter ever and the grilled chicken was just lovely and the fish pokora was jus delicious and my favourite the sheesh kebab was jus amazing. it was really nice to see my whole family and friends were enjoying the food and the atmosphere it was really nice to have my bday there I would recommend all of you to go to Dhanak Deira and have a really nice time there because it's worth it. I have never had such a brilliant bday ever I loved it there and how can I forget the dessert was just amazing. Ice cream over my favourite and the price outside the restaurant £6.99 was worth it because the buffet was jus amazing the variety of the food was really thoughtful. All of those dishes My favourite I jus can't wait to go back there because I feel like I'm at home. it's like a home sweet home really comfortable no complaints no demands. I really can't wait to go back and please hater stop hating.

We visited Dhanak Deira today at 18:15. Restaurant was quite to start with as one table of 3 was engaged when we got there. Soon it started filling up. Starters were good n wholesome. Speciality dishes like Nihari n Haleem were made authentically but were just warm. Informed the waiting person to turn on the burners, which he did. Lamb n Chicken Karahi dishes are actually dry masala dishes (not with runny gravy/curry). Biryani was cooked well but just warm. The dessert section lets the restaurant down as cakes selection was good but dry (frozen cakes which normally do end up dry once defrosted n left for a long time). Gulab Jamans ordered were very chalky in taste n were asked to be warmed up in microwave as not in a gravy boat with burner underneath. Tables were quickly tidied upby waiting person (European girl) but crumbs on the carpet were not taken care off which showed neglect n carelessness. This can be easily corrected by investing in an electric sweeper which is quiet n discreet way of housekeeping. Other thing that the restaurant can invest in is microfibre cloth to clean their glass tables as this would put the sheen back into the glass as it cleans n polishes the surface at the same time. Additionally this cloth is machine washable at 60 degrees (available at Asda 4 for £1).. Overall, restaurant felt cold as there is no central heating (we are assuming here) as electric heaters were available on request. Dessert section to be reviewed n revised along with house keeping issues to move the restaurant to next level..
Dhanak Deira
Christmas eve 2011 first time at this restaurant Indian food was tasty,The only down side we could hear the pinging sound of a micro wave. Not what i like to hear in a restaurant

enjoyed the Indian/Chinese buffet here last night. would suggest, if they read this - forget the Chinese aspect. there were only 4 dishes, they were nice, but there's already a huge Chinese buffet in town. i would have preferred 4 more lovely Indian dishes. I'd also say the food was very oily. Delicious though, nicely spiced, good drink selection (non alcoholic) and nice surroundings

I've been out to eat a few times at Dhanak Deira and I have to say the food is amazing, I am not particularly a fan of Chinese however Dhanak Deira's Chinese dishes were delicious. The venue has a beautiful traditional theme, and the service was really good as they made sure we were looked after. The overall experience was wonderful.

I have read your policy on negative views and would like to give a constructive criticism, the Dhanak Deira has no direct contact for e-mail. I went for a meal there last night and with a party of five sat down and ordered a meal at 8.20, the starters arrived at 9.10 and the main meal at 10.30. Apparently there was a problem with the catering for a large wedding party upstairs. There was an altercation with a wedding guest, which was actually quite entertaining. We refused to pay the bill of £76 and the bill was adjusted to £35, the point if this complaint is to suggest to the manager that we appreciated their difficulties but would have appreciated an apology for poor service and whilst we were waiting we could have been served with a few poppadoms and sauces and an explanation for delay. In short a more professional attitude and less basil fawlty, the food was excellent but small portions.

Just to let you all know, these so-called, indians or pakistanis had us off.
Me and my cousins called in on : Tuesday, 7th of July about a good thirteen of us. We were given our seats. Starters took about 45 minutes to prepare.
Thereafter, about an hour wait later came our main-course.
(we asked the waiter prior to ordering the dishes how many people would one dish be suitable for?)
The waiter replied "it's fit for, 4 people"
When the dishes arrived we were gob-smacked at the pea-sized portion we were provided with. We spoke to the waiter again who told us that we are lying?!?! After this we avoided any embarasment and ordered another four dishes to serve the thirteen people.
The quality and quantity of the food was appauling, the level of service was hideous! The restaurant is lavish and as for the management they need to buck up their attitudes.
Just like to also let u know that the dish which was only fit for one person was charged at #10 pounds. I'd rather go to my local curry house and pay a fraction of the price for the shit I was given at Dhanak Deira.
Hina, I bet your relatives own this hole on Blackburn Road. Everyone has there opinion and an honest opinion counts please withdraw your comment.
I would like to let you know that the revenue this place generates, is from weddings and parties. To just walk-in and order something, don't even bother.
And dear management, for taking the mickey, with us the internet will hear our voice. We will let everyone know never to visit your restaurant simply because you lot have taken the piss.

Large venue, which was a bit quiet when we went but Im hoping it does well as the food was very tasty and fresh and the service was good too. I like the open kitchen too, all looked very clean. Just a warning this is a no alcohol restaurant, not a problem for us but one of our guests was mortified : )

We had booked a party for upstairs and I have to say Dhanak Deira was fabulous. Lovely place, excellent food, really good atmosphere and the most obliging Waiters and Managers around. We had ordered a combination of Indian and Chinese food and it was delicious.
I highly recommend Dhanak Deira and cannot wait to go back there.
