About Dolce Vita

Established in 2014, Dolce Vita is an Italian restaurant and bar in Poole’s Ashley Cross. It’s open every day for lunch and dinner with everything from pizza dough to pasta sauces prepared fresh in-house. The Italian cuisine is complemented by a great selection of drinks from Drift Bar next door with Italian wines plus cocktails and a wide range of gins, rums and vodkas. As well as the restaurant and bar, Dolce Vita also has a decked veranda area out front overlooking the park where you can sit and watch the world go by. Regular events feature throughout the week too with live music on Wednesdays, DJs at weekends and a Latino dance class on Sundays.

Good and service great. Unfortunately let down by the fact we booked for meal and Elvis tribute in July got there no table in our name so sat in bar area with four other couples front of restaurant doors left open I was freezing all night. Garry the Elvis ETA was in the other part of restaurant singing and so we couldn’t see him until we moved but then sat on a chair with no table again by the open door. Other people also complained of same thing. It should have been people who had meal allowed in only not people just drinking who took up the restaurant but. If you book a table for a meal especially to see Garry then that’s what it should be not shoved into the car area this venue is not suitable for this kind of show

I have been to this establishment quite a few times now as a group and the food is consistently delicious. The staff always take care of you. I would happily recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting traditional Italian food.
