I came here a long time ago, when it was a dark and dingy pub/restaurant. Looking for somewhere 'nice' but informal with a memorable setting for my guests to eat, decided to try the Dolphin as I'd overheard favourable comment. First impressions were -wow - Lightly illuminated with a lot of pale timber and slate floors - it was a vibrant and dynamic environment. We had to work hard to find a seat (having not booked) but found a large adult sized solid timber table. It felt like home. Food was well presented and bang up to date. I have no hesitation in making a return trip.
