Booked table for 15th Feb on line my for my 3rd visit, I bring macy my neice age 14 who is veggie the last 2 visits were spit on. I came Saturday with macy and my husband we ordered starters all fine then 2 pitzas again fine but I asked for the crab linguine which arrived with no crab and 5 prawns!! In asking was told had no crab and should have been told by the lady who served us, incidently both nice ladies however we said we went told and I would have not had it if that was the case!!! No resolution no would you like to order something else just an assumption that was how it is, unhappy as I was as both my husband and neice werehalf way through the pitzas just decided to eat it , I think that the whole we have no crab was poor so prawns it is was poor which would having travelled especially from Worsley would stop me from going again!! Shame it had become a favourite of ours sorry better customer service would have helped

Took a party of 12 there for a meal. Place was lively without bearing overbearing, so we could talk without shouting or straining. Good food and drink, prompt service delivered with a smile.

I came with a group of 12 teachers over a week ago.
Was pleasantly surprised with my delicious pizza, and everyone was full with their servings. Ooo the sweet caramel was great.
I'm awaiting confirmation by yourselves for another reservation on Monday, June 13 with more friends.

This was one of the worst dining experiences we have had EVER. Yes, the restaurant looks lovely and a really mouthwatering menu but all of that means nothing if the service is slow and surly. Our pizza's took almost 45 mins to arrive (the restaurant was almost empty). When they did arrive the pizzas were undercooked and mediocre. A couple of our party opted for the non dairy cheese on their pizzas and while I admire a pizza establishment who can offer a non dairy alternative - the 'cheese' was inedible and had an odd bodily odour. Our waiter was mono-syllabic and hid from us when we tried to get his attention - I finally had to go to him in order to find out if our pizzas were coming or not. Did we catch Dough on a bad day? perhaps, though walking back to the car we realised how empty it was compared to other eateries in the area - obviously the locals knew something we didn't.

As the restaurant is named dough you would think that this is an area they would specialise in. A good pizza is very easy to make but even easier to get wrong. Unfortunately for dough they just haven't got it right. Whilst the pizza toppings are average the pizza bases resemble supermarket own brand. It's a shame because the location is good and the staff very pleasant.
I can think of six or seven other places in Manchester city centre I would prefer to go for a pizza and most of these have a wide selection of meat and fish dishes as well.

Visited Dough for the first time on Valentines. Whilst the Northern Quarter is not the most pleasant area of Manchester it does provide ample parking.
Dough however offers a very pleasant dining environment. Modern, minimalist, bright and very clean. The space between tables was more than many restaurants afford their guests and this spacious feel combined with a young mixed gender clientele created the a very relaxed and enjoyable ambience. The staff were very attentive whilst not being overpowering. We were assigned a designated waiter and he was excellent.
For starters we shared baked dough sticks served with balsamic vinegar & olive oil and a mango, vine tomatoes and red onion salad dressed with basil infused olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The salad in particular was excellent. Throughout the evening the ingredients were fresh and very tasty.
Our pizza main course was served with perfect timing. We eagerly consumed the Funghi and American options. In our opinion the pizzas were on a par with the Olive Garden and far superior to other Manchester restaurants we have dined at.
The big difference and clearly important at the moment was the low prices charged by the Dough. To pay so little for such a pleasant dining experience mans we will be going back again and again.
A great night.

This restaurant works. It is clinical the staff are welcoming and the pizzas are loaded. I had the Asian Chicken Pizza and it was the best i have had in any pizza restaurant. Nice little bar next door as well. Keep up the good work.

Tried Dough Yesterday evening after just moving to the area. This is a no brainer alternative to the pizza hut and pizza express chains, the food is far superior and the DOUGH is home made on the premises... you can taste the difference. Had the Xmas pizza! very festive very filling very tasty and i got a starter and a mince pie and coffee for £11! excellent value. Staff were really friendly and definitely an experience I will be doing again and recommending others do!
