We have eaten here twice and both times the food has been outstanding. The Victorian building was obviously very grand in its day but does need a little attention; however once you start eating then you wouldn't mind if you were sat in a skip...it is that good.
The staff were welcoming and friendly on the occasions we visited. Burnley has a shortage of good restaurants and this is, in terms of the food, certainly one of the best in the area and if they got the ambience right it would be full every night.

Cannot believe that I am the first to recommend this restaurant! 4 of us went there Sunday 30th May and had a 3 course (plus coffee) meal for £12.50 each and not a frozen veg or microwaved anything in site! Waitresses so very cheerful, polite and helpful without being in your face. If you don't know the area, you may have to ask as the RAC directions are silly and incorrect - it's on the main Burnley - Manchester road just before you get into the centre. Go and enjoy!
