The place looks fantastic. Very well refurbished pub outside and inside. However the food lets it down. Again presentation is good but the actual food poor. Style over substance. I have heard this from numerous friends sadly too

What a fab makeover this place has had. Really up there now as one of the best upmarket dining pubs in the Fylde along with the Cartford and the Farmers Arms. The main dining area at the rear has a great atmosphere. Loads of choice on the menu but the pizzas are v good too.

Had 2meals from lunch menu, fish was supposed to be catch of the day...not good at all...even the chips were terrible... don't think we would be going back anytime soon.

Nice place, good food but what a shame about the gentleman's lavatory. Would suggest you take a peg and a pair of waders!

We have been twice recently. The first time I had the mixed grill that was truly huge! The second time 8 of us went for my birthday and that the 2 4 1 midweek deal. Excellent value as it was £68 for all of us excluding drinks! Well done to the Eagle and Child Weeton and for Sugarvine for showing us the deal!

The Eagle and Child really need a greeter as no one tells you where to sit or how to order etc. I enjoyed my Chilli, however my wife didnt like her veggie stroganoff at all. We did get a refund on that though. So fair play to them. Nice looking pub too in the pleasant village of Weeton.

Was tempted to try this pub by the two for one offer. Unfortunately the food really didn't live up to my expectation. I'm afraid I won't be going back unless it gets better.

First found this place on Sugarvine and now go about every 3 weeks. Last went for my fathers birthday. I had scallops which were very good. Mother lamb shank which she enjoyed. Laid back place and a nice trip out from St Annes.

BEWARE! The manager does not care! I visited on 21st August, and had the king prawns. Within half a hour I felt Ifaint hot and clammy and very tired. I spent the whole night being sick. I was doubled over and could not stand straight. The next day my head hurt so much I couldn't lift it off the pillow and I could not move out of bed. I had to have the day off work. I am a dental nurse and my dentist had to cancel patients. My husband called into the pub and was told the manager was off and would ring the next day, however the chef insisted the prawns were if anything over cooked. I rang the next night and spoke to the manager who quite honestly did not give a damn. He said he would ring back, I said are you not going to say sorry and ask am I feeling any better? Needless to say I am still waiting for my phone call. I lost 2 1/2lb after eating there, so if you want a fast weight loss this is the place to go.

Lovly pub shame about the sandwiches!! Had 2 extremely plain looking roast ham sandwiches, dry bread with a pot of coleslaw... Disapointed as it was £5!! Strongbow was flat too!! Buck up e&c at least a bit of side salad?!?
