Sunday lunch at Earle, I had just finished watching the owner, Simon Rimmer, on the Something for the weekend programme and I must admit I like his style of cooking.
The restaurant was set in the heart of Hale, the staff were really pleasant.
The menu was simple and reasonably priced.
But, there always is one, Simon please go back and teach your chef to cook beef, or better still use a better cut. I have never eaten , sorry tried to, eat such tough piece of beef.
On mentioning it to the manager he simply said sorry.
The lady on the next table also told the staff about - again there was no reaction - apart from sorry.

We ate at Earle last week - it was a gourmet night to celebrate their 2nd anniversary. The meal was incredible! Just gorgeous! The service was fantastic and we even got to meet Simon Rimmer who was as lovely in real life as he comes across on tv. I could not recommend this restaurant enough!

Earle is one of THE best restaurants I've ever literally EVER eaten at. Unlike some of the Manchester city centre restaurants and other places I've been Earle is always relaxed and welcoming. The staff are attentive but not over-bearing. The food is well portioned, well priced and well cooked. I would recommend this place to Everyone!!

Visited Earle for the first time last week and was impressed.
The service, food and atmosphere were all spot on, and when the bill arrived we were pleasantly surprised to see that it came it at just £30 each, including our drinks.
We'll be going again, and recommend it to anyone for a great meal out in Hale.

one of the best meals I've eaten in UK for a long time. The place looks cool, the staff are very helpful, the menu is full of things you want to eat, with no fancy add ons. Simon Rimmer shows that he can do meat as well as veggie. This place is a must try - cannot fault it
