My family and I had a lovely meal on saturday 20th of February.
The staff were very courteous the restaurant was clean and nicely furnished.
We have been before and each time enjoyed our meal. I have recommended it to our friends.

under new management .... arrived and was greeted by lovely young lady who promptly seated myself and family. Chose Garlic mushrooms for starters followed by a beef sizzler .. To finish had a homemade dessert , it was bakewell tart and custard .. devine !! certainly worth a visit so much so that we have booked our wedding anniversary
In Pursuit Of Happyness
I only visited once, but never again after seeing a rat run from the pub to the nearby canal. I wished I had driven past.

cant really recommend this restaurant, I ordered medium to rare fillet and was served fillet well done, the dessert I and my partner ordered was the toffee lumpy bumpy and this was served straight from the freezer, was rock hard and unpalatable, when we complained about the desert the proprietor just shrugged and said sorry mate.

There is a new style here with modern food in a modern setting.
A two course steak big meal for two with wine is £25. There is a Specials Board at about £8.
All very good and worth a visit.
