About Ellis’s

Ellis’s is the home of gourmet burgers in Burnley. The eponymous diner is the brainchild of self-confessed burger obsessive Kyle Ellis who has developed a menu that takes the humble burger to a whole new level. There’s a choice of nine Pimped Burgers (including Straight Outta Burnley, Notorious and 99 Problems to name but three) as well as Classic Burgers, Hen House Burgers and two Herbivore Burgers. And the burger selection is matched by an equally impressive array of fries and sides. Ellis’s started life as a milkshake bar and they still do a mean shake alongside beers and cocktails. Ellis’s is open from 12 noon until late Wednesday to Sunday and until 4pm every day they also do a Bottomless Brunch comprising a burger, fries and 90 minutes of drinks.

Me and friends came for a bottomless brunch and had the most amazing time! The food and drinks were fantastic and we never had an empty glass! The cocktails we’re so good and staff were always happy to help. I would definitely recommend the bottomless, great value for money and very looked after from start to finish. Thank you! X

Ellis's is amazing. The burgers were delicious and there was an excellent selection of cocktails. When our bill was brought at the end, I thought there had been a mistake because it was so cheap! The waitresses were all lovely. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for making our 12th anniversary meal so memorable.

Booked a table for 7.15pm waiting on staff took us to a table for 3 when we had booked for 4 people, told to go to bar and order drinks (bar staff looked confused why we was stood at the bar) Bar staff very friendly and professional though. We were seated at a table, middle of the room, very cold no heating. Waited around 15 mins and no one took our order, had to attract waiting on staff attention. Food arrived. All hot and tasty, wrong fries given and changed promptly. Overall the quality of Ellis’s food is just as good as it’s origin on Standish St. just need to sharpen the eating in experience and service.

Fantastic food and drinks for a very reasonable price - this place is a gem and my favourite burger and cocktail venue. All of my friends also highly recommend this place! Burgers cooked to perfection and the portion sizes are very generous. If you are in the Burnley area definitely try Ellis'!

Great food. Small venue with understandable booking policies as a result. People should see past that though and give the food a try. Kenanks is, and always has been a poor effort of this style of food. Ellis' is definately a step up from that.
