The Engine Inn has now been refitted,and what a fantastic difference,they have a new Chef and The food is,some of the best I have tasted in Cumbria for a,long time,everything is homemade,and locally sourced,and booking is now essential.Real ale is also served,and dogs are allowed,the staff are really friendly,and helpful.

The new owners are really making a go of this pub/restaurant they now have a fine selection of wines, real ale and food which is mostly locally sourced. Since Chris and Karen moved to the pub in August the food has improved immensely.
