We had a very memorable day/night at the Engineer. Right from the off it was spot on. On ordering that fine beer Erdinger the bar lady cooled our glasses. The restaurant was full but then a table was found for us. The service was quirky and friendly with great advice on food a wine choices, particularly Lydia. I had a seabass with Miso sauce, ginger and mash. I dont believe Ive ever had a better fish dish. We got back on the Erdinger after dinner and enjoyed the buzz of a busy and cool Primrose Hill pub. Seek it out!

One of the most accomplished of all the neighbourhood gastro pubs. They got it right from day one, great staff, exciting and interesting menus, superb wine list. Unpretentious, quality, good for talent and celebrity spotting.
