Extremely overpriced. We visited yesterday and paid £11.60 for 2 average coffees, a slice of cake and a scone! Needless to say we won't be going there again

Visited Fancy That today February 28, lovely sunny day we sat outside, did pop in to ask if we ordered inside was told somebody would take the order. This was 12.50 waited until 10 minutes to be served, the older man then took the order 2 hot drinks and a toasted tea cake. He said they were busy, waited untill 1.35, hubby getting fed up. Went in to ask if it was going to be much longer was told 4 other people had to be served,my hubby said we had been waiting at least 35 minutes. The old man said no way it was only 10 minutes, in fact he was calling us liars. We told him not to bother. Just like to say I hope all his customers stay away as they are very rude and do not deserve to run a cafe. No recomendation from us.

My Nanny went in this afternoon with my daughter and son for one of the wonderful home made ice creams. After finding a table inside as there were no tables outside she ordered an ice cream for herself and my daughter and a juice for my son. The juice came in a lovely plastic cup with a straw and my son sat beautifully and drank it. He then caught the base of the cup on a ridge in the table and spilt it. My nanny asked for a serviette and was told rudely the female owner someone would have to clear it up and that it would have to be mopped properly. Fair enough but surely a serviette wouldn't have been too much of a problem. A poor waitress brought a mop and bucket to be hollered at by her boss that it needed to be done properly with a wet mop then a dry mop. My nanny in the meantime had now been made to feel very awkward by the female and male owner. She was then told and I mean told, to move outside. She didn't and moved to another table inside whilst the area was mopped properly. My daughter and herself finished their ice creams feeling like naughty children. Even the woman on the table next to them commented on the way in which she had been disgustingly treated. I rang to lodge a complaint about the way she was treated and was told that my Nanny hadn't even apologised for the the spillage. Sorry? What was she apologising for? Accidents happen!! She, nor I would ever return to this cafe even if the ice creams were free. Disgusting customer service and overpriced!!

Visited this cafe at 4.30 on Fri afternoon. Was greeted very warmly by a nice gentleman i presume was the owner. Only really wanted a quick cup of tea but was tempted by him to have a piece of cake too. Was then served by a woman who i can safely say is the rudest and most miserable looking individual i have had the misfortune to meet! I assume she is the owners wife as any employee with that attitude would surely be sacked. Needless to say i wont be returning despite the tea and cake being quite nice. Whatever happened to service with a smile?!

My husband and I and a couple we visited Lytham with fancied an ice cream on what was the hottest day of the year so far. Saturday 26th May. We wanted a homemade icecream and did some quick street market research. Several people clutching what looked like very good ice creams directed us to Fancy That which was some distance away from where we were. We arrived at exactly 5pm to be told "we are closing and you cant have an icecream". Come on guys you are a cafe/icecream parlour in a seaside resort on a busy hot Saturday in todays economic climate nobody can afford to turn business away. We visit Lytham frequently and will never trouble you again to sell us your very expensive icecream.

Visited Fancy That in March 2012. It has got to be the worst cafe in Lytham for quality and service. Also the most expensive. Will not visit again and certainly would not recommend.

Rude owners, overpriced. The customer is always wrong attitude & don't appear to enjoy what they do. Uncomfortable atmosphere.

The customer service in is this Cafe by the "Mature" manageress/owner is dreadful, she rude and obnoxious. I would not recommend visiting this cafe. Urbanspoon reviews also state the same all of them stating the same manageress

I cannot believe how unwelcome myself, daughter, 2 daughters in law and 2 grand daughters were made to feel when we visited yesterday for icecreams. I am so disgusted that I feel I have to write and make a comment. The lady owner needs to learn some manners and not jump in to make a comment to her customers. My daughter in law was speechless. I wish now I would have made a complaint at the time. In these difficult times she should be pleased that her customers are prepared to pay over £8 for 3 icecreams. I will never again set foot in this place, and will also tell my friends not to bother too.

I would never go again. Rude, arrogant and unhygienic. The food was average I cannot believe the previous reviewer was real. I have read 3 other reviews now and they all concur with mine.
