There’s a lovely feel to the Farmers and the all-round package of décor, food and staff is a winner. I would be quite happy if this was my local; sadly, it isn’t.

Hello Farmer's; My wife Jean and I had a Beautiful Dinner last night . . Jean had one of her favourite's , The Fritto Misto,; and I chose the Hake with Thai flavoured Rice and vegetables from the Special's;. . .I cannot praise the Chef highly enough for the utter Quality of the cooked Hake; and flavours of the meal. It was one of Three Stunning meal's I have had in different Restaurant's in the past 5 year's. Thank You.
(PS, So wrapped in the food we ( us and the Staff ) completely overlooked that we had booked in the 'NEW YEAR "18 deal and did not get our 20% discount last night but I was very kindly reminded this morning by phone, that we will be receiving a Voucher to the equivalent value; We dined on TABLE 3

Another great meal at the Farmers. We went as part of their Seafood Week and I took advantage of the ‘Oysters & Prosecco’ offer as a starter and then had a halibut risotto from their daily specials. Looking forward to returning for Lobster Friday!

Another fabulous pub to add to my 'must go' list!
The staff are lovely and very friendly and are very accommodating for the canine members of the family. The pub is nicely decorated and it has a warm and welcoming feel with a traditional country pub atmosphere.
The food is absolutely delicious, with a good selection from the menu for the delectation of the most attuned palate, using quality local ingredients.
As a real ale lover, I always like to see a good selection and this was certainly the case; I had a few pints of Timothy Taylor's Landlord and they were amazing!
Fantastic first trip here and we will certainly be going back. Highly recommended.

A large group of us went out to the Farmers in Great Eccleston for a Mother’s Day evening meal. Considering there were 18 of us on one table on one of the busiest days of the year, the young waiting staff coped very, very well. The Fish Pie and the Fish and Chips got a big thumbs up!

Without doubt the finest pub lunch I have had in 42 years!

Our meal was average really. Starters were good but not sure if we didn't choose too well for main. I had red fish in Asian greens & it was average, fish pretty bland & @ £16.95 wish I'd ordered a steak. Mrs had roast beef and was ok but had to ask for horse radish after she'd eaten half of it cos no-one offered when they brought the plate. Nice place & like the fires. Service was ok, nothing more really.

Eight of us went for lunch on recommendation from Sugarvine. We had a great meal and were particularly impressed with the way the staff dealt with our young kids. A weight off our mind so we could enjoy the adult company. Perfect for a family gathering.
