I had lunch at the Farmers Arms on Aug. 15th 2011 along with 3 other people. We all chose from the a la carte menu. All 4 of us enjoyed our meals and the portions were generous. The staff were attentive and friendly and we shall certainly return again. It's possibly the best pub meal I have ever had.

This is one of my consistently favourite pubs. The food is always good and plentiful. There is a nice beer garden to sit out in too. I would recommend booking particularly on Sundays. There is a restaurant and also a bar/dining room/ pool room too.

This venue must be getting popular - we were asked on arrival whether we had booked or not, and it was early doors on a Monday evening!
To be fair, the restaurant soon filled up, and whilst there isn't a huge choice on the menu, the food was absolutely terrific.
I had the Lamb Henry, which was absolutely massive, and was so tender, it fell away from the bone - highly recommended.
Will definitely be returning

I live about 100m from the pub and it is the perfect site location for me. I walk down the road get greeted by all the staff and eat the nicest food from a pub or restaurant I have ever had. The fine wines and beers are fantastic and sell really quickly. Saturday night dinings are the best but you must book early because they are full with bookings on that night! Fantastic place.

Jane the landlady cooks herself assisted by Cheryl. A varied menu is available. Dean the landlord supplies a fine selection of wines and beers. Pensioners specials at lunchtime. Book early as their reputation grows.
