The Old Clarence Villa pub in Coxhoe, County Durham has had a makeover emerging as an authentic Italian restaurant with a contemporary feel, alongside a traditional pub with its own bar food menu, real ale selection, live music and pub quiz. The food is just like mamma used to make with a range of pizzas, pastas and main courses and some great-value Happy Hour meal deals throughout the week. This was our 1st visit to The Farmhouse, wine and dine and we were not disappointed. A lovely pub/restaurant. The dining area was very spacious, rustic , charming decor. A great choice of food on the menu. Something for everyone . The 4 of us had 2 x 2 course special plus 2 mains and 2 deserts. Food was delicious . Although , my daughter was a bit disappointed with her parmo. Reporting it as a bit dry. The chunky chips are a must. The staff were very friendly and attentive :)
