We had a very disappointing evening at Filini’s, Liverpool in October 2008. In short, this restaurant is mediocre in food quality, service and is overpriced. First, one should be aware that this restaurant is not set up to cater to parties greater than 4. We had 6 in out party, which meant they had to cobble together three small table away from the normal dining area, leaving the ambiance distinctly lacking.
The waitress was somewhat surly. She failed to ensure that everybody had completed their order before leaving the table, and failed to check that everything was satisfactory with the food she had served. It was not. The soup was thin and tasteless, and then blamed the guests for not alerting her (she was nowhere to be seen). No compensation was offered. Two of the guests had their main entrées overcooked relative to what they had requested.
This is a restaurant to be avoided. It is very expensive for the mediocre quality that is delivered.

Filini is a really nice Italian restaurant and the surroundings are gorgeous...red leather seatings and huge chandeliers - so the atmosphere was brilliant there and the staff was very helpful and recommended us delicious mains and desserts. Also the wine is lovely...you should try the Orvieto!! Will definitely come back and recommend to friends and family. Well done Filini, we had a great time in your restaurant.

Visited on 19/09/2007 and managed to obtain a window seat. From the moment we entered the staff were so helpful and polite. The restaurant was very clean, even though it was busy. The menu is not large which was a good thing as I struggled to choose my main. Opted for the crab, totally amazing and at only £12.95 very well priced. All three course were very well cooked and there was a nice delay between the courses, something that is missing in most restaurants, as it really made the night. Will I visit again, YES

Beginning with the appetizers, dishes burst with flavour. We are especially fond of the asparagus with soft poached egg, and the pan-fried scallops with fregola grossa, both served as starters. The food is superbly cooked and beautifully presented. We give high praise to the monkfish and the chicken breast with olive stuffing. For dessert? Heaven sent us a delicious strawberry soup and one of the best desserts I have ever tried: coffee and doughnuts which is a really tasty coffee mouse and two little homemade doughnuts with a fantastic cinnamon flavour to them. The service was outstanding with really friendly and welcoming staff. The wine list is entirely Italian and impressive. Filini offers fantastic Italian food and wine, and if you?e into that then this is undoubtedly the place to go.

If you want to experience a 'different' menu then here is the place to visit. The flavours were great. Monkfish was slightly overcooked but the whole evening wasn't spoilt because of this slight overcooking. I would recommend this restaurant to others.Window seat recommended.

The food at Filini was amazing, every single mouthful was to die for. Beautiful restaurant, very pleasant staff and wonderful food, what more could you ask for! Highly recommend. We also had a few drinks in the White Bar which is also within the Hotel, this is just as pleasant.

We went to this restaurant on a Saturday evening. Me and my partner are lovers of Italian food and this was the most delicious I have ever had even down to the olive oil and bread. Would definitely recommend eating here
Filini
Hiding in the Radisson hotel, this restaurant was just what I needed.
Relax atmosphere in chic surrounding
Very good food, different than the average Pizza Pasta Italian Restaurant. Go for it!
