About Food Creations At Bathgate Golf Club

Food Creations is newly based at Bathgate Golf Club, near Edinburgh, in the recently redecorated restaurant with its great views out over the 12^th and 18^th holes. The award-winning caterers have more than 10 years’ experience in the Scottish catering and events industry, picking up awards recently at both the Scottish Food Awards and the Scottish Wedding Awards. And Head Chef Stephen has brought more than 30 years’ experience at some of Scotland’s top addresses. The restaurant is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, offering a diverse menu which is suitable for all. The great-value Meal Deal menu (starting at £8.95 for two courses) is available Monday to Wednesday and from Thursday through Sunday you have a choice between the Main Menu, a Kids Menu and a Weekend Specials Menu from Friday to Sunday. There are also special Vegan and Gluten-Free menus and other dietary requirements can be catered for. The fully stocked bar has an array of beers, spirits, and wines and the spacious room is perfect for social distancing.

We held our wedding lunch in the small room which was an ideal size for 18 guests. The food & service were excellent. We would recommend this venue for lunch or a special occasion

We celebrated our Golden Wedding with family and friends, 20 people in total in the small dining room on 12th June, absolutely first class experience , staff were very friendly and helpful, we all enjoyed a 3 course meal and drinks , cannot praise kitchen, servers and bar staff enough for truly great service, they made our golden anniversary a very special occasion, food was tremendous, and servers did wonders in serving our food and drinks in a very friendly and efficient manner, will certainly return in the future, I strongly recommend Bathgate Golf Club dining experience to all. Lovely food but this time the huge room was very cold. Unsure if this is to do with covid rules but felt a little comfortable on an already cold rainy day. Staff were friendly and right away asked us for our drinks order but I would have preferred a minute more to take our seat and jackets/masks off. The food especially the dessert was amazing. Presentation was superb and lovely flavours. Brilliant value and choice and our entire party of 7 were full for the rest of the day. Maybe a light background music and sheer drapes round the windows would warm the place up. Definitely be back though as minor things.
